Oak Lodge Bed & Breakfast is set in 2 acres of attractive gardens on the borders of Essex and Hertfordshire. Situated in the unspoilt village of Takeley and complemented by the surrounding rural setting your hosts Jan & Ron are pleased to invite you into their warm and friendly home.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing break in this beautiful  part of England or simply need to be near the conveniently located Stansted Airport (2 miles) without the noise, we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us.

Oak Lodge is a 16th century Tudor style house with a wealth of character, old oak beams in impressive surroundings whilst providing all the benefits of quality living with modern facilities. 

With central heating throughout relax in our warm, comfortable and tastefully decorated and furnished bedrooms or socialise with other guests in our elegant sitting room.

We can accommodate up to six guests in three recently refurbished rooms (all with en-suite facilities) allowing us to maintain a very high standard of personal attention.
